Requirements
- Previous automotive parts experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems is a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Assist retail and wholesale customers with automotive parts purchases
- Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Accurately identify and look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software
- Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and special orders
- Supply technicians with the correct parts in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate inventory and help stock incoming shipments
- Organize and keep the parts department clean and orderly
- Communicate order status and estimated arrival times with customers
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts
- Work closely with the service department to ensure efficient repairs
- Follow dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines
