About The Position

Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships is looking for an Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our growing team! This role involves assisting customers with selecting required parts, suggesting related items, offering specials, and ensuring customers are aware of the full product line. The position also includes pulling purchased parts from stock, managing backorders and emergency orders, answering phone calls, providing quotes, assisting outside sales representatives, preparing daily orders for shipment or pickup, and supporting service technicians with their parts needs.

Requirements

• Automotive Parts Experience Preferred, similar work experience welcome to apply
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting required parts
• Suggest companion requirements
• Offer specials and ensure customers are exposed to the full product line
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• Determine availability and submit emergency orders for out-of-stock parts
• Answer phone calls and provide pricing quotes and other information
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders
• Set up daily orders for shipment, delivery, or pickup
• Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs
