Automotive Parts Counter Specialist
About The Position
Cooper Auto Group is seeking a Parts Counter Specialist for their reconditioning center located at their corporate campus in Edmond, OK. This position offers a base hourly rate of $18 per hour with a five-day work week. The role involves estimating parts requested by the Service Department, overseeing the parts sales process, locating parts not in stock, completing special order requests, communicating parts status to internal customers, and maintaining an organized parts department and inventory for accuracy and efficiency. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant experience in an automotive parts department or retail store.
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Estimate parts requested by the Service Department from various sources.
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts currently not in stock.
- Complete special order part request.
- Communicate with internal customers on parts status.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure parts department and inventory is well organized to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
