About The Position

Rydell Chevrolet is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to join our growing Parts Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, building relationships, and working in a fast-paced automotive environment. As a Parts Counter Salesperson, you'll play a key role in supporting our retail, wholesale, and service customers by providing expert parts recommendations and ensuring they receive the right parts quickly and accurately. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills; dealership software experience is a plus
Positive attitude and professional appearance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Responsibilities

Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with automotive parts purchases
Identify, locate, and recommend parts based on customer needs
Process parts sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Create invoices, quotes, and special orders
Follow up with customers regarding parts availability and order status
Work closely with the Service Department to ensure timely parts fulfillment
Receive, stock, and organize inventory as needed
Maintain accurate inventory records and pricing information
Build strong customer relationships that encourage repeat business
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
Follow all dealership policies, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
Support the Parts Department with additional duties as assigned
