Automotive Parts Counter Person
About The Position
Mercedes-Benz of Dublin is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counterperson for a full-time position. This role is familiar to those who have worked in a dealership parts counter, but with a unique and predictable 5-week rotating schedule. The Parts Department operates on a published, repeating 5-week rotation where every parts counter person follows the same schedule. This schedule includes three 4-day workweeks, working only 2 Saturdays out of every 5, one scheduled weekday off each week, a consistent 4-day weekend (Friday through Monday), and 40 scheduled hours weekly. Management aims to provide backup coverage for absences to protect this rotation. The company is looking for an experienced dealership parts professional who takes pride in their work, is accurate, efficient, and a reliable team member.
Requirements
- 12+ months of automotive dealership parts experience (retail automotive parts store experience will also be considered)
- Strong parts-counter, organizational, and computer skills
- Accuracy and efficiency in a busy dealership environment
- A work ethic your teammates can rely on
- Valid, clean driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
