About The Position

The Automotive Parts Catalog & Oracle PIM Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining Monro's automotive parts catalog, vehicle application data, and Oracle Product Information Management (PIM) platform to enable accurate product selection, inventory management, procurement, reporting and point-of-sale execution across the enterprise. This role serves as the primary steward of product master data, vehicle fitment information, catalog content, and item governance processes. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate product-to-vehicle relationships are maintained within catalog systems, enabling stores to identify and select the correct parts based on vehicle year, make, model, engine, and application requirements. The role is also responsible for governing product information within Oracle Item Master and Oracle PIM, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance across all systems and business processes. The Automotive Parts Catalog & Oracle PIM Analyst partners closely with Merchandising, Category Management, Supply Chain, Store Operations, IT, Marketing, Finance, eCommerce partners, and external suppliers to support item setup, product lifecycle management, catalog maintenance, data governance, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate combines strong automotive parts expertise, data governance discipline, systems knowledge, analytical skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Requirements

Strong understanding of Oracle Product Information Management (PIM), Product Hub, and Item Master functionality.
Knowledge of automotive aftermarket catalog structures, fitment logic, vehicle application data, and product classification methodologies.
Understanding of item master governance, product lifecycle management, and master data management principles.
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, data interfaces, data loading tools, and reporting platforms.
Knowledge of ACES, PIES, VCdb, PCdb, and other automotive catalog data standards preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Management, Computer Science, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience supporting Oracle PIM, Oracle Product Hub, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or related master data management platforms.
Experience managing product master data, item setup, catalog management, or automotive fitment databases.
Experience working with automotive replacement parts, vehicle application data, ACES/PIES standards, catalog management systems, or aftermarket data providers preferred.
Experience with ERP systems, data governance programs, and product lifecycle management processes.
Experience supporting cross-functional business processes within merchandising, supply chain, procurement, inventory management, or retail operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Oracle Product Information Management (PIM) and Oracle Item Master processes, ensuring accurate creation, maintenance, governance, and lifecycle management of product and item data.
Maintain item master records for automotive parts, tires, labor codes, fees, service packages, promotional codes and other item types.
Configure and manage item attributes, item classes, catalog structures, category hierarchies, cross-references, and product relationships.
Manage item creation, item changes, item discontinuations, supersessions, and lifecycle status updates.
Perform mass data maintenance through Oracle data loading tools, interfaces, APIs, WebADI, FBDI, or approved data management processes.
Support implementation and optimization of Oracle PIM functionality, workflows, controls, and data governance standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot Oracle PIM data issues, workflow failures, system errors, and data synchronization problems.
Support integrations between Oracle PIM and related systems, including ERP, inventory management, procurement, POS, eCommerce, supplier portals, and reporting platforms.
Maintain documentation for Oracle PIM configurations, business rules, workflows, data standards, and operating procedures.
Maintain the enterprise automotive parts catalog and vehicle application database to ensure accurate product selection at the point of sale.
Manage vehicle fitment data and product application relationships by vehicle year, make, model, sub-model, engine, drivetrain, and configuration.
Ensure catalog accuracy for automotive replacement parts including tires, brakes, batteries, suspension, steering, exhaust, filters, wipers, ignition, electrical, fluids, maintenance products, and other automotive service categories.
Partner with suppliers and catalog content providers to obtain, validate, and maintain product application data and catalog updates.
Review and resolve catalog conflicts, duplicate applications, missing fitment records, and product-to-vehicle mapping discrepancies.
Conduct catalog audits to identify and correct inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete application data.
Maintain interchange, supersession, and product substitution relationships to support accurate product recommendations and availability.
Support catalog enhancement initiatives that improve sales conversion, technician productivity, inventory efficiency, and customer experience.
Serve as steward of product master data and champion enterprise data governance standards.
Establish and maintain data quality controls, validation rules, attribute standards, and approval workflows.
Monitor data integrity across Oracle PIM, Item Master, catalog systems, POS platforms, inventory systems, and supplier data feeds.
Identify and resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Partner with stakeholders to improve data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness across systems.
Own the maintenance and data integrity of item relationships for National and Strategic Account product association tables, ensuring alignment with business rules and account structures.
Work directly with automotive suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and catalog content providers to maintain accurate product information and vehicle application data.
Coordinate item introductions, product changes, catalog updates, and lifecycle transitions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Validate supplier-provided product attributes, specifications, dimensions, images, application data, and marketing content.
Support onboarding of new suppliers and product lines through standardized master data and catalog management processes.
Escalate and resolve supplier data quality issues impacting inventory, purchasing, catalog accuracy, or store operations.
Partner closely with Merchandising, Category Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Store Operations, IT, Finance, and external vendors to translate business requirements into catalog, item master, and Oracle PIM solutions.
Support new product launches, supplier transitions, assortment changes, inventory initiatives, and enterprise projects.
Act as a subject matter expert for product data, catalog management, vehicle fitment information, and Oracle PIM processes.
Participate in system enhancement projects, testing activities, process improvement initiatives, and user acceptance testing.
Provide user support for product data, catalog maintenance, item creation, and Oracle PIM processes.
Train onshore and offshore business users on item setup, catalog standards, data governance procedures, and system functionality.
Perform root cause analysis on catalog defects, product selection errors, item maintenance issues, and master data inconsistencies; develop improvement plans to address gaps and improve data accuracy and effectiveness.
Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and efficiency improvements.
