About The Position

As a Supply Associate, you support CarMax service operations by ensuring technicians have the correct parts when needed. You manage inventory accuracy, process incoming shipments, and provide customer service to internal and external customers. The position is suited to detail-oriented individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the automotive customer experience.

Requirements

• Complete Supply Associate Workstation Certifications and adhere to competency standards.
• Read, interpret, and accurately record data.
• Have intermediate computer skills, including spreadsheet proficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with associates and vendors.
• Perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Have effective verbal communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and provide the correct parts for customer vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts shipments into inventory.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper stocking levels.
• Control supplies to minimize waste and improve efficiency.
• Allocate parts using CarMax internal systems to support smooth workflow.
• Return incorrect or defective parts to vendors promptly.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Benefits

• Paid sick time: eligible associates may accrue up to 48 hours per year.
• Paid vacation time: eligible associates receive 80 to 200 hours per year after a 90-day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service.
• Paid holidays: eligible hourly or commission/incentive associates receive 8 hours of pay for each of 6 scheduled holidays per year, plus 1 floating holiday.
• Holiday Premium Pay may be available to eligible associates who work on a scheduled holiday due to business need.
• Full-time salaried associates receive paid time away with no specified limit as needed for sick leave, vacation, bereavement, jury duty, holidays, and floating holidays, subject to manager approval.
