Automotive Parts Advisor
About The Position
Sioux Falls Ford is looking for an energetic and outgoing Automotive Parts Advisor to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for servicing customers, sales staff, and technicians by obtaining the parts needed to complete any phone and/or in-store orders. Our management teams are supportive and very experienced in business growth to provide you with the training and support you'll need for a forward-moving long-term career. Salary Range: $46 - $60k depending on experience and performance
Requirements
- Related experience in a franchise automotive parts position
- Excellent customer service skills
- Detail oriented and organized self-starter
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Attendance is an essential function of this job.
- May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- This position sometimes requires sitting at a desk utilizing a computer and monitor.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Issue parts and accessories promptly to technicians from the service parts counter
- Track all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership.
- Handle incoming phone calls efficiently.
- Sell parts to meet monthly forecasts.
- Look up and sell automotive parts to all customers: shop, over the counter, wholesale, via internet as well as the phone.
- Take inventory of stock
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
- Provide the highest level of Customer Satisfaction at all times.
