About The Position

Cumberland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in automotive parts who enjoy assisting customers and technicians in a fast-paced dealership environment. The Parts Advisor will be crucial in supporting the service department by accurately identifying, sourcing, and selling parts, while delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and wholesale clients.

Requirements

Previous experience as an automotive Parts Advisor required.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
Excellent computer skills and ability to navigate electronic parts catalogs.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

CDJR or OEM dealership experience preferred.
Experience with dealership management systems (CDK experience is a plus).

Responsibilities

Assist service technicians with accurate and timely parts lookup and fulfillment.
Sell parts and accessories to retail and wholesale customers.
Identify parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software.
Maintain accurate inventory control, stocking, and organization of the parts department.
Process special orders, returns, warranty parts, and core returns.
Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate ordering needs.
Maintain clean, organized parts storage areas and displays.
Work closely with service advisors to ensure efficient repair order completion.
Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone.
Follow dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
