Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2-3 years of automotive related top-coat painting experience
• Basic computer knowledge and knowledge of Plural painting systems

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions involved in painting aluminum and composite truck bodies while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Ensures that painting procedures are performed efficiently and are within designated specifications and established delivery schedules.
• Inspects vehicle for surface defects prior to final paint staging area.
• Refers to work orders/specifications to determine paint codes to be used on upcoming units and follows mixing instructions from Vendor color System.
• Selects appropriate paint color per work order, mixes paint per Vendor requirements and tests paint on sample surface for proper consistency and color.
• Sprays paint on vehicle until proper millage is obtained.
• Maintains cleanliness of Paint Booth and mixing area.
• Supports and participates in Morgan Olson’s PPS team efforts.
• Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer-focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
• Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
• Other duties as required.
