About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Automotive Painter for its Sacramento - Lexington St Service Center. The role performs paint operations in a collision center, including preparing color tint to match vehicle paint, mixing colors, and ensuring formulations, preparation, top coating, curing, application sequence, timing, and materials usage meet OEM-recommended standards. The painter ensures paint work is complete, masking is removed, and paint-related disassembly is reassembled before returning the vehicle to the body technician. Compensation is $26–$28 per flag hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

Auto Body certificate.
ASE certification in refinishing.

Responsibilities

Prepare color tint to match paint color.
