About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Automotive Painter for its Cedar Rapids–Southwest service center. The painter prepares color tint to match vehicle paint, mixes paint colors, and ensures formulations, preparation, top coating, and curing meet OEM-recommended standards for application sequence, timing, and material usage. Before returning a vehicle to the body technician, the painter ensures paint operations are complete, masking is removed, and prior paint-related disassembly has been reassembled.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in paint operations within a collision center.
Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

Auto Body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred.

Responsibilities
