About The Position

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is seeking an experienced Automotive Office Manager to join their growing team. This is a leadership role within the business office, offering career growth and stability with a respected automotive group. The ideal candidate will have dealership accounting experience and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years Automotive Office Manager experience
  • Dealership experience required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office, dealership systems)

Nice To Haves

  • DealerTrack experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the dealership accounting office team
  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes
  • Ensure accuracy of financial schedules and reconciliations
  • Review general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payables
  • Complete month-end and year-end closings on time
  • Analyze income and expenses, identifying variances
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with department leaders across the dealership
  • Support payroll and commission processing with HR
