About The Position
Performs vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards in a mobile environment. This role is for technicians interested in a tiered pay plan, longevity bonus program, and on-the-job training. The dealership is described as the highest paying in the state and welcomes technicians, trainees, and apprentices.
Requirements
- Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- At least 1 year of experience as an automotive technician (Ford experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Ford or OEM certifications are a plus
- State of Michigan services are a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform light vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, inspections, etc.) at off-site locations
- Perform manufacturers safety, emissions, compliance recalls
- Accurately diagnose and repair Ford vehicles using OEM tools and equipment
- Maintain mobile service vehicle inventory and cleanliness
- Communicate clearly with customers about services performed and future recommendations
- Use diagnostic tools and mobile service software to update job status and complete work orders
- Represent the dealership professionally at all times
