Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Professional attitude and commitment to quality
- Technicians should have a personal set of automotive hand tools appropriate for their experience level.
Nice To Haves
- Previous dealership experience
- ASE or manufacturer certifications
- Advanced diagnostic skills
- Hybrid or EV experience
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, steering, suspension, HVAC, engine, and transmission concerns
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Use scan tools and computerized diagnostic equipment
- Test-drive vehicles to confirm proper operation
- Document repairs and communicate findings clearly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, OSHA, and EPA guidelines
- Participate in ongoing technical training
