About The Position

Performance Driven Workforce is hiring full-time entry-level Automotive Mechanics for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. In a prototype environment, mechanics modify cars and trucks and perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Team members provide mentoring and support with project work and customer interactions. The position is based in Greer, South Carolina, and has an AM day shift starting at 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of previous experience.
• Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field.
• National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s).
• State mechanic certification(s).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by working from repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components.
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders.
• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
• Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.
