About The Position

Lou Fusz Automotive Network is hiring an experienced, service-oriented Automotive Mechanic/Technician to perform vehicle inspections, diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with dealership procedures and manufacturer specifications. The technician will use diagnostic tools and special service equipment, test-drive vehicles, communicate additional service needs to the Service Advisor, and estimate the time required for additional repairs. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Clean and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed when additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
