Experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician
About The Position
The Lou Fusz Automotive Network is hiring an experienced, service-oriented Automotive Mechanic/Technician. The role involves completing repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards, testing vehicles and components, and diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing automotive systems. The technician communicates with Service Advisors about additional services and repair estimates, and performs warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. The Lou Fusz Automotive Network is family-owned and has served the St. Louis area for 70 years. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Requirements
- Strong automotive background.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Clean and valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- ASE certifications are ideal.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide estimates of the time required for additional repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
