Automotive Mainline Technician – $110K–$205K+
About The Position
Horne Kia in Gilbert is hiring experienced Automotive Mainline Technicians to join our high-volume service department. Kia certification is NOT required to apply. If you're a strong A or B Level Technician with dealership experience, we can provide the training and development needed to become Kia Certified. Already Kia or Hyundai Certified? We want to talk to you. If you're turning hours but feel capped by your current shop's workflow, pay plan, or lack of opportunity, this could be the move you've been waiting for. Our shop is built for experienced technicians who know how to produce. We are looking for technicians capable of working toward 175+ flagged hours per month in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience
- A or B Level Technician experience
- Dealership experience
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Valid driver's license
- Professional, dependable and team-oriented attitude
Nice To Haves
- Kia Certified Technicians
- Hyundai Certified Technicians
- ASE Certifications
- EV/Hybrid experience
- Technicians currently producing at a high level
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform maintenance and repair services accurately and efficiently
- Complete repair orders while maintaining quality standards
- Work closely with Service Advisors to maintain efficient workflow
- Diagnose drivability, electrical and mechanical issues
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Complete Kia training and certification requirements
- Service EV and hybrid systems as qualified
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
