About The Position

Horne Kia is committed to providing exceptional automotive service and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Lube Technician to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a full-time, in-person position offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company policy.
Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and various weather conditions.
Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds.
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate tools and controls.
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely and responsibly.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice preferred.
Local state inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles with accuracy and quality.
Identify and assess any additional vehicle service needs and communicate them effectively.
Maintain clean and safe working conditions in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
Deliver excellent customer service through prompt and clear communication.
Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the dealership.
Demonstrate integrity by upholding high ethical standards and professionalism in all work.
Support and teach fellow employees to foster a collaborative and successful team environment.
Operate equipment and handle vehicles safely and responsibly at all times.
Follow all management requests and participate in improving operational efficiencies.
