Automotive Line Technician
About The Position
We are looking for an Automotive Line Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and be ASE/Ford certified. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include traveling in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls. Requirements
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Valid driver license
- ASE/Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory
- Strong use of technological devices including tablets
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Repair brake and steering systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
- Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
- Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
- Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.
