Jerry Seiner KIA is seeking a skilled KIA Automotive Line Technician to join our dynamic service team. Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and comprehend automobile characteristics and technical features.
- Previous experience in an automotive service organization with demonstrated customer service skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum age of 18 and authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- State Inspection and County Emissions certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance according to manufacturer specifications using industry-standard procedures, tools, and technical manuals.
- Communicate additional maintenance needs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Work closely with service advisers and the service manager to meet guest needs, using diagnostic equipment to adhere to brand specifications.
- Follow checklists and company processes to examine, repair, or replace parts and components, and carefully test vehicle functions while driving.
- Update job knowledge through ASE and automotive brand certification classes, staying informed about inspection standards, emissions programs, and technical manuals.
