About The Position

Fury Motors South St. Paul is looking for a Light Duty Technician to perform routine maintenance, support our service team, and help customers keep their vehicles running safely. Whether you’re starting your career or bringing some automotive experience, this role offers the opportunity to put your mechanical skills to work and learn alongside experienced technicians at a family-owned dealership.

Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in automotive service.
Some automotive maintenance experience preferred.
A willingness to learn dealership systems, equipment, and service procedures.
Attention to detail and pride in completing work correctly.
Dependability and the ability to work well with a team.
A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance services.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and maintenance needs.
Test and replace batteries and complete minor repairs.
Check and replenish fluids and replace filters.
Install wiper blades, bulbs, and other small components.
Accurately document findings in the multipoint inspection system.
Assist Journeyperson and heavy-duty technicians as needed.
Help keep express service moving by staging vehicles and coordinating with Service Advisors.
Support shop cleanup and parts pickup.
Use tools and equipment properly and follow shop safety procedures.
