About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring an Automotive Key Technician to work an assigned route serving automotive dealers and other customers. The technician produces duplicate vehicle keys and transponders that function like the originals, including work with high-security keys and complex transponder systems in modern cars and trucks. The role also involves maintaining equipment and inventory, submitting invoices and work orders, and building positive, productive customer relationships.

Dent Wizard welcomes experienced key technicians and candidates with the right attitude and drive who can complete its training course. The position offers a $24 per hour base with commission potential, paid training, company vehicle, gas card, locksmith tools allowance and supplies, and independence in managing the workday. Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location; the stated starting compensation is $24.00–$25.00 per hour. Total compensation may also include commission, bonus, or profit sharing.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming.
• Prior experience as a Key Technician.
