About The Position

Dent Wizard is seeking a Key Technician, including experienced technicians and trainees who have the attitude and drive to complete the training course. The technician works an assigned route of dealers and other customers, duplicating vehicle keys and transponders that function like the originals. The role includes maintaining equipment and inventory, submitting invoices and work orders, and building positive, productive customer relationships. Technicians receive paid training and on-the-job support from seasoned Key Techs, with opportunities to advance to higher technician levels or management roles. The position offers a $24-per-hour base with potential commission, and the posting also states starting compensation ranges of $23.00–$28.00 per hour and $24.00–$27.00 per hour; compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Requirements

Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
Sales and customer service experience.
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming.
Prior experience as a Key Technician; alternatively, the right attitude and drive to complete Dent Wizard’s training course.
