About The Position

Dent Wizard is seeking an experienced Automotive Key Technician. This role involves working on high-security keys and complex transponder systems in cars and trucks. The technician will travel to dealerships and other customers to produce duplicate keys and transponders, maintain equipment and inventory, submit invoices and work orders, and build customer relationships. The company is looking for experienced Key Techs, as well as individuals with the right attitude and drive who can complete their training program.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electronic skills
• Sales and customer service experience
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
• Toughness and grit to work outside in all kinds of weather
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication and transponder programming preferred

Responsibilities

• Produce duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles.
• Maintain equipment and inventory.
• Submit invoices and work orders.
• Develop positive and productive relationships with customers.
• Work an assigned route of dealers and other customers.
