About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Automotive IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical support for our dealership team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in computer hardware, software, networking, and technical support who enjoys hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced dealership environment. Dealership experience is a plus, but we're also interested in candidates with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an IT Support Technician, Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Technician, PC Technician, or similar role preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, printers, networking, and peripheral devices
  • Experience supporting dealership software such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar DMS platforms is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Dealership experience is a plus

  • Trade School or Technical College Graduate
  • Military Technical Experience

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, and other dealership equipment
  • Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral issues for dealership employees
  • Set up new employee workstations, user accounts, and equipment
  • Install software, perform updates, and maintain system configurations
  • Provide support for dealership management software and applications (experience with CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar dealership systems is a plus )
  • Diagnose and resolve basic network, internet, email, and connectivity issues
  • Coordinate with third-party IT vendors when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment, inventory, and completed work
  • Assist with technology upgrades, hardware replacements, and new equipment installations
  • Follow company procedures while maintaining data security and confidentiality
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and timely technical support to dealership staff
