About The Position

Heritage is immediately hiring an Internet Sales Manager for our award-winning Subaru location. As the Internet Sales Manager, your core responsibility revolves around managing and enhancing customer inquiries to transform potential leads into showroom visitors. You will play a vital role within a vibrant team, thriving in a high-energy workplace. In this role, our Internet Sales Manager’s goal is to efficiently handle customer inquiries, guide potential customers through the sales process, and work collaboratively with the team to drive increased showroom traffic and sales success.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in automotive sales, internet sales, or BDC (Business Development Center) required
  • Proven track record of driving online leads and converting them into showroom traffic and sales
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, train, and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills (phone, email, text) with a customer-first mindset
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Availability to work in person flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer inquiries promptly and provide comprehensive answers to their questions.
  • Present various vehicle options to potential customers.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, text, and email.
  • Monitor and actively engage with customers through live chat inquiries.
  • Assign leads to salespeople and oversee their performance in following up with leads.
  • Foster relationships with customers to build rapport.
  • Conduct daily one-on-one meetings with the sales team to review their portfolios.
  • Provide coaching, training, and counseling to enhance their sales skills.
  • Meet with guests as they arrive to ensure a seamless transition from inquiry to showroom visit.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Sales Management team to analyze key metrics such as Appointments Set, Show, and Close rates.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to implement with the sales staff.
