About The Position

Ferman Automotive is seeking a driven, tech-savvy, and results-oriented Internet Sales Manager to lead and grow our digital sales operations. This role is responsible for managing all online sales leads, overseeing the Business Development Center (BDC) processes, maximizing conversion rates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from first digital touchpoint to showroom visit and vehicle delivery. The ideal candidate understands modern automotive retailing, CRM systems, digital marketing strategy, and performance management within a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of automotive sales, BDC, or Internet Sales management experience
  • Proven track record of high internet lead conversion and appointment-setting performance
  • Strong working knowledge of dealership CRM systems
  • Experience managing and coaching a sales team
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze KPIs and performance metrics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and third-party lead providers
  • Ability to enforce processes and maintain accountability
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills
  • Familiarity with OEM programs and compliance standards
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming internet leads (OEM, website, third-party, chat, text, and social media).
  • Ensure rapid response times and consistent follow-up to maximize conversions.
  • Drive lead-to-appointment, appointment-to-show, and show-to-sale performance.
  • Oversee daily BDC/Internet Sales team activity and accountability.
  • Train, coach, and develop Internet Sales Consultants and BDC representatives.
  • Monitor and enforce CRM usage, data accuracy, and process compliance.
  • Create and maintain email, phone, and text communication templates and scripts.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to dealership leadership.
  • Collaborate with marketing vendors to improve lead quality and ROI.
  • Manage online reputation and review response strategy.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from online inquiry to showroom experience.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and CSI performance.
  • Analyze digital advertising sources and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Support inventory merchandising accuracy across digital platforms.
