About The Position

Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening for an Automotive Interior Technician. This role involves trimming the interior of vehicles, including installing and trimming walls, headliners, and windows. Responsibilities also include framing, insulating, and building sidewalls, preparing materials by checking for defects and ensuring correct sizing, and assembling walls according to prints. The position requires the ability to glue walls as needed and assist in other departmental areas as directed. Requirements

Experience using building materials
Solid work history with interest in pursuing a long-term full-time placement with a growing company.
Ability to use ladders, enter and exit vehicles, reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, working below knees or above shoulders and lifting as much as 50 lbs.
Ability to use air and electrically powered tools such as drills, hammer drills, torque wrenches (powered or non-powered), air tools.
Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms and safety regulations.
Ability to correctly use and read various gauges.
Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment.
Ability to read a tape measure to a sixteenth (1/16) of an inch.
