About The Position

We are seeking an Automotive General Service Lube Technician to provide service to customer vehicles. This role involves checking and changing fluids and filters, airing tires, and performing specialized services such as transmission, differential, and radiator services. The technician will also input customer and maintenance information into the computer, explain services to customers, accept payments, and maintain clean facilities. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager and Assistant Manager, with no direct supervisory responsibilities. The technician will rotate through various Lube Technician duties, including Upper Bay, Lower Bay, Greeter, and Cashier.

Requirements

Ability to read and write English.
Successfully complete the Lube Technician training course.
Previous automotive experience is helpful.
Equipment operation includes overhead and floor mounted oil and grease guns, differential pump, transmission fluid exchange machine and calculator.
Ability to reach four feet in height overhead, some bending, stretching and use stairs is used constantly.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
Respond to communication calls from co-workers.
Mobility is required.
