About The Position

Five Star Ford Stone Mountain is looking for an energetic General Manager to lead their Team! The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, have the ability to meet/exceed goals, and possess good knowledge of the car buyer in today’s ever-changing automotive market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success while supporting dealership staff and customers in building and representing the brand. This role requires an innovative leader with the skills to hire, train, motivate, and lead a team to achieving their goals. The dealership is part of a high-volume, highly successful dealer group and offers a lucrative pay structure, an attractive benefits package, relocation assistance, and brand-new facilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 Years experience as successful Automotive Dealer Franchise GSM OR GM
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales goals in large volume dealership
  • Ability to effectively use CRM platforms
  • An understanding of new/used inventory control
  • Open to taking direction and not afraid to take initiative
  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast paced environment
  • Solid history of commitment and stability

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for profitability in all departments in the dealership - Strategize with department managers for profitable forecasts and set objectives
  • Possess the ability to attract, maintain and develop all dealership personnel and monitor the performance of all department heads
  • Exhibit a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability
  • Create a positive and legally compliant working environment and sales culture- Be ethical and transparent in all decisions
  • Create cost-effective advertising programs and merchandising strategies for the dealership -to include traditional, digital and community focused
  • Assist sales managers in deals and closing more customers
