Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Finance Manager in the automotive industry.
  • Strong sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending instructions and information.
  • Competency in personal computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all finance and insurance products offered by the dealership.
  • Prepare and submit accurate documentation to secure financing approvals for customers.
  • Collaborate with sales management to ensure a 100% turnover of customers to the Finance & Insurance department.
  • Work alongside sales managers to facilitate customer approvals and provide products that protect their investments.
  • Forecast finance department goals in partnership with the sales team to achieve desired penetration rates and revenue targets.
  • Verify the accuracy of title, lien information, taxes, and other customer documentation.
  • Ensure customer information is accurately maintained in dealership databases, including email addresses.
  • Notarize deal paperwork as necessary and submit completed deals to the office promptly.
  • Ensure timely funding of deals from financial institutions post-sale.
  • Acquire necessary licenses for selling insurance, as applicable.
  • Generate monthly reports on finance penetration and products sold.
  • Keep sales management informed about current rates and product offerings.
  • Complete all required training certifications as directed by management.
  • Adhere to policies outlined in the Personnel Policy Manual and other corporate guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
