About The Position

Stanley Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our successful sales team in Belfast, Maine. We are looking for someone who can confidently present financing options, protect the dealership through accurate compliance practices, and create a smooth, professional experience for every customer. The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive F&I or dealership sales, a proven record of performance, and the ability to build trust with customers while supporting the sales team. This is a key role in our dealership. You will work closely with sales management, lenders, and customers to structure deals, present protection products, complete paperwork accurately, and help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of dealership F&I manager experience preferred.
  • Automotive sales experience may be considered for the right candidate.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to build rapport quickly and professionally with customers.
  • A strong understanding of dealership sales processes, lender relationships, and finance paperwork.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge and general computer proficiency.
  • A commitment to compliance, ethics, and customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • AFIP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the finance and insurance process for vehicle purchases from approval through delivery.
  • Presenting financing options, payment choices, service contracts, protection products, and other available programs in a clear and ethical manner.
  • Working with customers to understand their financing needs and helping secure appropriate loan or lease options.
  • Supporting the sales team and sales managers during the vehicle purchase process.
  • Building strong relationships with banks, credit unions, lending partners, and customers.
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly goals for finance income, service contracts, product penetration, customer satisfaction, and other key performance benchmarks.
  • Ensuring all paperwork, disclosures, contracts, and funding packages are completed accurately and on time.
  • Following all federal, state, local, lender, and dealership compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining high ethical standards and protecting the dealership’s reputation through transparent, customer-focused practices.
  • Managing finance department forms, supplies, bank documents, state paperwork, and dealership-related finance materials.
  • Helping maintain a strong CSI score by making the finance process organized, respectful, and easy for customers to understand.
