About The Position

Vallejo Hyundai is seeking a high-performing Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for maximizing profitability in the finance department while delivering a transparent, compliant, and customer-focused experience.
The ideal candidate is process-driven, highly ethical, and skilled at structuring deals, presenting products, and working collaboratively with sales and management teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an F&I Manager in a franchise dealership (Hyundai experience a plus)
• Strong track record of high PVR and product penetration
• Deep understanding of automotive finance regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Hyundai experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Present and sell finance and insurance products (service contracts, GAP, maintenance, etc.)
• Structure deals in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain strong lender relationships and secure competitive approvals
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner
• Achieve and exceed F&I performance metrics (PVR, product penetration, compliance)
• Provide a transparent and professional experience to every customer
• Work closely with sales managers to maximize deal profitability and customer satisfaction
• Stay current on all compliance requirements, including DMV, CFPB, and lender guidelines
