Requirements
- Previous automotive F&I experience
- Proven ability to produce strong results while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Competitive and motivated
- Comfortable asking for the business
- Strong at overcoming objections and building value
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Knowledgeable about automotive lending and F&I products
- Committed to compliance and ethical business practices
- Coachable and interested in continued professional development
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, lenders, salespeople, and dealership leadership
Nice To Haves
- Previous automotive F&I experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Present financing options and protection products in a professional, transparent manner
- Maximize F&I performance while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Secure competitive financing through dealership lending partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lenders
- Present vehicle service contracts, GAP protection, appearance protection, and other F&I products
- Ensure all paperwork and funding packages are accurate and completed efficiently
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, lender, and dealership requirements
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth Sales-to-F&I turnover
- Track performance and continually work to improve product penetration and profitability
- Assist customers with questions regarding financing and protection options
- Help create a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
