About The Position

The Automotive Express Lubrication Technician lubricates vehicles quickly and thoroughly, coordinating responsibilities with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman. The role includes performing lubrication services, inspecting vehicles for issues that may require repair or preventive maintenance, maintaining lubrication equipment and lifts, and keeping customers’ vehicles clean. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA and perform duties safely. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, and a drug test, and must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

Knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Manual dexterity.
Good judgment.
Authorization to work in the USA.
Ability to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, an MVR check, and a drug test.

Responsibilities

Perform all lubrication services.
Thoroughly check customers’ cars, including the battery, lights, and tires, and refer needed repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor.
Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
Receive repair orders from the Service Writer or Shop Foreman and proceed to the service lift.
Lubricate the entire car while looking for other items that may need repair.
Keep the guest’s car clean.
Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
