About The Position

In this temporary position, you will assist in providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the automotive field. This role focuses on integrating hands-on learning experiences with real-world automotive practices, ensuring students are well-prepared to enter the workforce. This job is only for internal applicants who are in the Automotive Program at WSU Tech. All other applicants will be disqualified.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled full-time in the Automotive Technology program and maintain good academic standing.
  • Ability to work one Saturday per month as scheduled.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance under supervision.
  • Assist with shop organization, cleanliness, and safety practices.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, faculty, and peers.
  • Utilize program-provided tools and equipment properly and safely.
