About The Position

The Automotive Dismantler removes high-quality automotive parts and usable core parts from vehicles safely, efficiently, and properly. The role requires dismantling vehicles within suggested time constraints, checking part quality and type, and labeling and tagging parts for stock. The employee must maintain any tools needed to perform the work and may be assigned other duties. This position does not supervise employees.

Requirements

Hands-on automotive repair experience.
May be required to have a personal set of tools as needed to carry out duties.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
Ability to follow clear directions, routine procedures, and guidance from a supervisor or manager.
Ability to work from assignments and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Label and tag parts for placement into stock.
