About The Position
Modern Chevrolet of Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced GM Diesel Technician to join our team. We are looking for a technician with a strong GM background who is passionate about diagnostics, repairs, and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of GM technician experience required
- Diesel diagnostic and repair experience required
- GM experience is required
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

- GM certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain GM diesel vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Perform advanced engine, electrical, fuel system, drivability, and emissions diagnostics
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs in accordance with dealership and factory guidelines
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Road test vehicles as necessary to verify repairs and diagnose concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
