Automotive Diesel Mechanic
About The Position
We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Harrisburg - based fleet service team. If you're a pro with diesel and gas trucks who wants to work for a stable, high-paying operation we want to talk. The role involves performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Diesel Vehicles/equipment, Heavy truck, trailer, and GSE assets at the Harrisburg Airport location. The technician will also conduct preventive maintenance, perform test drives and make system adjustments, maintain accurate service records, manage shop equipment, and conduct field repairs in various weather conditions.
Requirements
- 3-4 years' experience in GSE and or Diesel/Gas mechanic experience
- GED or High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license and own tools
- Must pass background check
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Diesel Vehicles/equipment
- Heavy truck, trailer, and GSE assets are serviced at the Harrisburg Airport location.
- Preventive maintenance
- Perform test drives and make system adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate service records and manage shop equipment
- Conduct field repairs in various weather conditions
