About The Position
We're looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Reno-based fleet service team. If you're a pro with diesel and gas trucks who wants to work for a stable, high-paying operation, we want to talk. This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday, 4 am - 12:30 am shift.
Requirements
- 3-4 years' experience as a mechanic
- GED or High School Diploma
- Valid driver's license and own tools
- Must pass background check
- Strong accountability and customer service mindset
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks, vans, R&R (sprinters, transits, chevy/ford vans)
- Preventive maintenance, R&R
- Perform test drives and make system adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate service records and manage shop equipment
- Conduct field repairs in various weather conditions
- Enter Workorders into computer
