About The Position
Now hiring an Automotive or Diesel Mechanic for our shop serving Oklahoma City Environmental Trust! Transdev in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking an Automotive/ Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines across various vehicles and equipment. All Techs play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Transdev is proud to offer: Competitive compensation package of minimum $22.00 – Maximum $26.00 An additional $.10 per hour for each ASE certification you possess or obtain An additional $.50 per hour for obtaining your CDL An additional $.50 per hour for obtaining your state CNG certification Benefits include: Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks Sick days: 5 days Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability. Company paid ASE testing, training materials, and tool reimbursement.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required.
- At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
- Mechanic’s toolset
- ASE certifications preferred. Must be willing to participate in company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!
- Subject to DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
- Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
