We’re looking for an Experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our growing team. The Experienced Automotive Diagnostic Technician serves as the senior technical authority within our service department. You’ll perform advanced diagnostics, A/C service and repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and complete mechanical repairs—including engine and transmission replacements, timing systems, brake systems, suspension, and steering work. This role also involves mentoring less experienced technicians, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and ensuring every repair meets customer satisfaction and company expectations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional automotive repair facility
  • EPA Section 609 Certification for automotive HVAC required
  • Strong proficiency in advanced automotive diagnostics and electrical systems
  • Must supply personal hand tools and specialty tools appropriate for the role
  • Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and able to follow established procedures
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, including pursuit of ASE Master Certification

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 current ASE certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Conduct A/C system service, electrical troubleshooting, and advanced drivability testing
  • Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering components
  • Complete all customer-requested work with precision and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop policies
  • Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure timely and complete job execution
  • Mentor and support team members to improve skills and performance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company quality standards
