About The Position

The Automotive Detailer cleans, details, and prepares vehicles for auction to meet company appearance and quality standards. The role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is suited to someone who takes pride in high-quality work and enjoys physically active, detail-focused tasks. The position is located at America's Auto Auction (South Wisconsin), 1424 Masters Drive, Jefferson, WI 53549. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.; and Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. Compensation is $16.50–$18.50 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
Position requires standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

Prior detailing experience is a plus; candidates with a skilled trade background will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Clean and detail vehicle exteriors, interiors, and engine compartments.
Prepare vehicles to meet auction-ready appearance and quality standards.
Use detailing tools, equipment, and cleaning products safely and effectively; training is provided.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete vehicles on schedule.
Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
