About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Automotive Detailer to clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals. The role supports the company’s high cleanliness and safety standards and is based at 1706 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley, CA 94702. Pay is $19 per hour. The schedule is Sunday 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m., Tuesday 1–6 p.m., Friday 1–6 p.m., and Saturday 7:30 a.m.–1 p.m. A California driver’s license is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a California driver’s license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and possibly transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of branch locations, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, and the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
