About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a part-time Automotive Detailer to wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals while meeting high cleanliness and safety standards. The position is located at 3270 Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo, CA 94590, pays $18 per hour, and requires a California driver's license. The schedule is Friday 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Sunday 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m., and Monday 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The role may also involve assisting and transporting customers, and maintaining the general cleanliness and appearance of the branch. Enterprise Mobility is a privately held mobility-services provider operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands. The company and its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a California driver's license.
Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; look for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicles for exterior damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process when necessary.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and potentially transport customers to and from branches.
Help maintain the overall appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, and bathrooms; removing trash; vacuuming and sweeping the lot; and performing other daily cleaning tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
