About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer and Car Washer in Fernandina Beach, Florida. The role pays a starting rate of $16 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. The Detailer cleans, sanitizes, inspects, and prepares cars, trucks, and vans for customer rentals, following high cleanliness and safety standards. The role also includes maintaining the branch’s appearance, assisting customers, and, when needed, transporting customers to and from branches. The position is located at 2440 S 8th ST, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. The listed schedule is Monday and Thursday from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM; Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 AM to 5:15 PM; and Saturday from 8:45 AM to 1:15 PM. Sunday and Wednesday are off.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require employment authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have 12 consecutive months of work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks of different sizes.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns, report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, and tire damage, and remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers when needed and transport them to and from branches when needed.
Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of branch interiors and exteriors, including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, and sweeping the lot.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
