About The Position

Enterprise Mobility is hiring a full-time Automotive Detailer and Car Washer at 2440 S 8th ST, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. The starting pay is $16 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week. The role involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals. The listed schedule is Sunday and Wednesday off; Monday and Friday 7:15 AM–5:15 PM; Tuesday and Thursday 7:15 AM–5:00 PM; and Saturday 8:45 AM–1:15 PM. Enterprise Mobility is a mobility-solutions provider operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car brands, among other services. The company and its affiliate manage a fleet of 2.4 million vehicles across more than 9,500 neighborhood and airport rental locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid driver's license with no more than one moving violation and/or at-fault accident on the driving record in the past three years.
Must have no drug- or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Must have 12 consecutive months of work or organizational experience.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors, including cars, vans, and trucks.
Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer belongings and place valuables in Lost & Found; and verify that vehicle registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; assess tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
Fuel and stage vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report warning lights or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; remove vehicles from the preparation process as necessary.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
Assist customers as needed and possibly transport them to and from branches.
Help maintain the appearance of branch locations, including cleaning desks, countertops, phones, floors, trash areas, and bathrooms, and vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and performing other daily cleanliness tasks.
Improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
