About The Position

FLORENCE BUICK GMC IS ADDING TO OUR DETAILING TEAM! We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Detailer/Lot Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive detailing, with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As the Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for overseeing the detailing team, ensuring all vehicles are detailed to the highest standards, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year in automotive detailing
Expertise in applying PPF, and other advanced detailing techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, reach, grab with arms
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of detailing services, including interior and exterior detailing
Wash, vacuum, and help prepare vehicles for customer delivery or display
Buff vehicles as needed to improve their appearance and presentation
Shampoo vehicle interiors and remove stains from seats, carpet, and upholstery
Assist with fueling vehicles and checking that vehicles are ready for test drives
Report any vehicle damage, dead batteries, low tires, or other concerns to management
Support the dealership team with general day-to-day operational needs
Inspect vehicles to ensure all work meets our quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure all safety protocols are followed
